One or two limited term 12-month lecturer positions are available, to start September 1 2011.
Normally, a PhD in Statistics or a related field is preferred, but candidates who have completed
a Masters degree in Statistics or are currently registered in a PhD program in Statistics will be
considered.
The position requires demonstrated ability to provide quality instruction of introductory
statistics at the undergraduate level, and evidence of potential to teach or assist in
upper level courses. In keeping with the goals of our undergraduate program, the ideal
candidate will have strong communication skills,experience with data analysis, and some
exposure to active learning techniques.
